Lightning Man

Lightning Man, was a super hero I created when I was seven years old. He looked a lot like a blue and yellow Power Ranger with a sword made of lightning..C'mon, I was seven. Over the years he went through a ton of changes. But I never forgot about my creation. There's something compelling about a guy who harnesses the power of lightning and uses it to kick ass. So I decided to do an updated version of Lightning man. Although I don't know if he would call himself that. This version is a bit steam-punk. His right arm mounted harness was created by a scientist who wanted to capture lightning and use it as a power supply. he was found burnt up in his lab...apparently, the lightning could be stored, but only released as violently as it was captured. The rig can direct lightning stored in the 4 capacitors on his shoulder. these can be refilled by taking a direct hit of lightning to the rig, or by replacing actual capacitors with fully charged ones. This lightning man was an electrician who was investigating power surges around the scientist's lab. He discovered the crispy scientist and his rig, but when he put on the harness for the first time, he inadvertently exploded a top crime boss. Retribution was swift, his wife was murdered and he was framed for the crime.

A vigilante, he now defends his city against the criminals and corrupt.
